Today, I got a call around 12:30 from Matt, the superintendent for our builder saying that the slab was going to be poured this afternoon. I was so excited! With all the rain that we had, our plumbing had floated so it had to be re-done. They re-did the plumbing this morning, put the sand down and then about 2:30 the first cement truck got there and they started pouring. We watched for about an hour and saw both the 2 car and single car get poured as well as half the house. Connor was amazed that it took 4 cement trucks and kept announcing their arrival. Hopefully they can start framing tomorrow and possible we can see some walls on Saturday. I am sure that we will head back over to check it out.

So exciting for a little boy to see!!! He is really going to be attached to the house even before you move in :)
