A trip to Bricktown

This past Saturday we took the kids to eat downtown AKA Bricktown and to a baseball game. The OKC Redhawks are the AAA team(I think) of the Texas Rangers. We went to eat at Chellinos (Mexican; yes it was my choice) to eat and Ashley was quite a mess; but we all made it out alive. Then we walked a block to the baseball stadium and bought our tickets and enjoyed the baseball game. We made it through 6 innings which was pretty good and saw 3 home runs which was very exciting!
Walking to the ballpark.
Cool chick...yes, that is a ketchup stain on her shirt from dinner. This resulted from a "No, I do it!" moment from Ashley trying to get the ketchup out herself.
Ashley and Daddy with one of the horses from the horse drawn carriages downtown.

Ashley actually sitting down! This is a small miracle. Kenton and I took turns walking around with Ashley. There was this amazing time when both kids wanted to go with Daddy to walk around. I didn't know quite what to do watching the game all by myself :)

Good thing we brought Connor's glove... we sat behind home plate so all the foul's would just hit the netting. Oh well, Connor had a great time! We are going to try to go back, probably without Ashley though. All in all, we ended up having a pretty good time and we were all tired and ready for bed that night!

It does look like fun. Ashley is looking so grown up and from the sounds of it very independent too. Very cute pictures.
