Garden produce!

This past weekend we picked our first tomato from the garden! It is actually pretty decent size and it was quite tasty! You could actually taste the tomato. The carrots don't seem to grow very well in our soil and our strawberries are a little on the small side. Oh well! We have lots of fun with it. Those dang racoons ate all of our corn though.

Wow...our tomatoes are not that far along. Not to bad for the first year.

Carrots aren't usually ready till the end of the season and will be best tasting if you wait until just after the first frost--that sweetens them. (But may come too late down there.)

Anyway, don't give up on your carrots. :)

What I wouldn't give for a fresh tomato...
