Last week, when the weather was BEAUTIFUL we had our basketball goal put together. Connor had gone with us to buy it; but it was a suprise when he came home from school and it was all assembled ready to go. Man... did I have an excited little boy. He promptly changed his clothes and proceeded to shoot baskets, work on his dribbling and the steps for a layup for the next 3 hours!

All the practice paid off! The goal was put together on Thursday and Connor practiced after school for 3 hours both Thursday and Friday. He had 2 basketball games (in a tournament) on Saturday and he played AWESOME! He had 10 points between the 2 games, played outstanding defense and was a monster getting rebounds. Of course, Saturday afternoon it was still nice so after playing 2 full court (they usually only play half court) games he took about 30 minutes to relax and then it was back out to work for another 2 hours! Oh... to have that much energy :)

Good job Connor! It definitely sounds like all of your hard work is paying off. And, that is such a big hoop too. Cute pic of Ashley sweeping off the driveway.
